    Several studies assessing the use of diary-books in health-care have been conducted: a pain diarybook to decrease pain intensity [7,8], a symptoms monitoring diarybook in adult cancer patients [9.   Intensive care patients frequently experience memory loss, nightmares, and delusional memories and some may develop symptoms of anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress.
